On October 11, 1996 two lions had more dangerous mouths than even Michael Douglas.
Twenty-five years of Val Kilmer playing Home Alone in Africa...
...and still being more ridiculous than Macaulay Culkin. But not in a fun Christmas classic sort of way. More of a not-so-classic white savior trope.
And normally we like that sort of thing here at SOBER CINEMA. But not this time! For there is no hand to hand combat with these lions. Only endless monologues and failure. Tom Wilkinson gets a pass for being a huge ass but everyone else in this movie turns us back to more BOUND discussion from our previous episode.
Because we may not be an expert on lions, but lesbians... Enjoy!
